Mitsuri is a very emotional and passionate person who constantly compliments people in her head, likely a contributing factor towards her nickname as "the Hashira of Love." Although she is rather shy and is easily flustered, Mitsuri is always kind to others, most notably towards Obanai, whom she appears to share a strong bond with. However, despite her gentle demeanor, Mitsuri will show no mercy in the face of Demons, instead expressing such sentiments with a fierce tone. She showcases a great amount of dedication to the Demon Slayers' cause. Despite being put out of commission by Muzan at an early stage in their battle, she was determined enough to return and fight, even sacrificing her life.

Given her desperation for marriage, Mitsuri decided to become a member of the Corps with the purpose of finding a suitable husband stronger than her, a rather difficult task given the astounding level of her physical strength. Upon joining the Corps, she felt an immense amount of guilt for her reasoning behind becoming a Demon Slayer to the point where she ate much less than her typical meals. However, she was able to move past those feelings with the help of Shinobu Kocho and Obanai Iguro.

Besides her rather emotional personality, Mitsuri can also come off as somewhat childish at times. When she is asked to explain the process of obtaining the Demon Slayer Mark, she describes it using noises and sounds.

She is a very caring person, always showing others her love as befits her Hashira title. She can get rather excitable, grabbing her friends for a big group hug after the battle against Gyokko and Hantengu.

When she is slashed by Muzan and taken out of the battle by Obanai, she says she wants to be of use and not drag everyone else down. She even begs for Obanai to come back and not get himself killed. This alludes to her love for him, the person she can finally feel for and be loved by. She shares Obanai's hope that they could reincarnate, meet each other and get married in other life.

Mitsuri is a 5'5" young woman with an appearance hard to forget. She has long pink hair that fades into green near the bottom. It is noticeably unnatural by people around her as she tried to dye it black before in an attempt to look more normal. She has bright green eyes with two beauty marks directly under them. She usually wears her hair in three thick braids with wild bangs.

She can be seen wearing a modified version of the Demon Slayer Corps uniform given to her by a Kakushi member because she was unable to burn her uniform unlike her fellow Hashira Shinobu. She wears a short skirt instead of the usual hakama along with a white haori. Mitsuri also wears long, lime green socks gifted to her by a friend (Obanai Iguro) with pink-laced footwear.

Her sword is sheathed and ever at her side.

ENHANCED STRENGTH

Since the age of one, Mitsuri possessed immense strength allowing her to carry heavy objects, some weighing about 120 pounds. In the battle against Muzan, Mitsuri was even able to physically grab hold of one of Muzan's tentacles and rip it off, without the use of her blade.

UNIQUE CONSTITUTION

Mitsuri has a special muscle composition with a density eight times that of a regular human. While her limbs are thin, they possess unbelievable strength and endurance capable of maintaining her body's structure after a point-blank attack from Upper Rank 4. To maintain the composition of her body, Mitsuri eats as much as three sumo wrestlers.

FLEXIBILITY

As well as her body's extreme physical strength and durability, Mitsuri also possesses incredible flexibility and nimble reflexes, being capable of dodging and outpacing Upper Rank Four's attacks and making use of this unique constitution and flexibility to deliver powerful attacks.

LOVE BREATHING

Taking full advantage of the unique constitution of her body, Mitsuri created a breathing style that combines her immense superhuman strength and flexibility to create a unique yet strong sword style. This style allows her to deliver multiple powerful blows to her target while maintaining immense speed, agility and flexibility.

― It is said her hair color is so unnatural because she ate too much sakura mochi which seems to be true as her hair color was black when she was younger.

― She likes eating western and western-inspired foods, like pancakes and omurice.

― She used to own a cat as a child.

― Mitsuri can eat 100 sticks of dango.

― She can cook western foods and taught her fellow Hashira Shinobu how to do so.

― Because of how much she eats, her food expenses are through the roof.

― She currently owns a rabbit.

Pre-Hashira

At a young age, Mitsuri Kanroji stood out a lot thanks to her hair color, strength and endless appetite. She was seen as a freak and unable to proceed with the marriage that was planned for her. After this, she dyed her hair black and pretended to be weak to fit in with other girls despite the fact that it was bad for her well being. After making these adjustments, she was propositioned for another marriage but began to doubt if pretending to be someone she wasn't would be good for her.

She eventually would meet Ubuyashiki who would tell her that she should embrace her uniqueness. And it is thanks to this that she eventually became a Demon Slayer. She wanted to meet someone who was stronger than her so she could marry them but she easily outclassed her fellow members. This did help her rise through the ranks to eventually become a Hashira ("Pillar") where their skills equally matched her own. She saw joining the Hashira as a way to meet even stronger individuals who might wish to marry her as well.

She enjoys things like taking care of cute animals, fawning over potential marriage partners, cooking, eating and beheading demons! Definite partner material.
